You attended a Rock 'n Roll HOF ceremony, Soda? How awesome.
That's awesome you were there Soda!!! I do remember this as my Mom is a huge Linda Ronstadt fan and we had HBO at the time and got to watch their broadcast. Plus, I love Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crowe, and lot of the other women who performed, and of course Glenn.

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
Thanks so much, Shun, for posting that. I really enjoyed seeing it again. Glenn was the perfect choice --he was so good at that sort of thing, and loyal to Linda.

Leave something good behind."
What an awesome time for you, Soda!
And Glenn did a wonderful job! And of course, the singers!
"They will never forget you 'till somebody new comes along"
1948-2016 Gone but not forgotten
It's a lovely speech and Glenn enjoyed giving it. I'm so glad Soda that you got to witness it live, and also to see him sing with Stevie another of your favourite singers. At the time I remember feeling sad that Linda herself had not been able to attend. Not that I was thinking that way but I never thought Glenn would pre decease her.
