I'm going to see Andy Fairweather Low and the Lowriders in March. He describes himself as "a grandfather who plays music" and it's funny to think of him as my sister's teen idol. I have high hopes of a good night in a small venue and I might even by a CD for my sister.

Hmm, I haven't heard of him! When is the concert?

As for me, I now have three Fleetwood Mac shows lined up in March over spring break (Charlotte, Knoxville, Little Rock). I've gotta stop there, though. I need to save up some money for when our guys get back. I'm hoping for some solo concerts!

Andy Fairweather Low was briefly famous in the 60s as lead singer of Amen Corner, was a solo artist in the 70s and for the last 30 years has been a sideman for people like Eric Clapton, Roger Waters and Bill Wyman (and he's someone who truly seems to be a "go-to" guy).

Jealous. I was very close to going to Charlotte or Knoxville but opted to stay home instead when they announced the 2nd DC show.

As for other shows, going to see RUSH on May 30th in Bristow, VA.

    Wow, how great for you!

    AC/DC
in September. Not totally my kind of music, but on my 18 year old's
    bucket list.

I'm looking forward to Fleetwood Mac too! I just saw them in December but my seats were so bad - way up high in the rafters and at an oblique angle so I couldn't even see the jumbo video screen.

I want to experience the great Christine McVie properly so I splurged on floor seats this time. It will totally be worth it.
