Online entries are based on donations to the Walden Woods Project although there is an option to enter without making a donation. The problem with that is there doesn't appear to be a link online for non-donation entries (which are unlimited, by the way) BUT the postmark deadline for mail-in entries is TODAY! I guess that's one way to minimize non-contributors from being a part of the elite group who gets dinner along with a meet-&-greet.

Yes - in the Don Henley forum, if you don't mind. Thanks!

Fans of Robert Redford - he'll also be there! Don is presenting him with an award:

Sounds like this will be quite an event.

I hope Don won't be too tired. He's got a full plate that night. The dinner, probably interviews with the media, meeting VIP people, meeting the winner of the contest and then the concert an hour or two later. He's going to be tired.

Luckily, the meet'n'greet is before the concert. Don will still be nice and fresh. And he promises in his video it'll be something "you'll never forget." He knows how to sell a contest, lol.

GL, if I win you can be my guest. Doesn't say the second ticket has to be used by a resident of the U.S. does it?

It's just not fair - DON, you're loved and adored outside the States you know!

Thanks, Cynd! I haven't got time to recheck the rules rigt now, but I don't think it says anything about the 2nd person.

Reading through the rules it appears that the 2nd person would have to be a US resident too. But if you win you could always check with them.

The issue probably has to do with taxes. Such a win would be taxable and they'd have to report it to the IRS.
