Austin - would you be able to go for just the DF portion of the concert?

I think he must have been coloring it blonde. like in the documentary, and now it has grown out to its natural color. Looks really nice either way!

Thanks for your review and the nice photos, Soda! I’m glad that you had a good time. You look great in both photos. I don’t think you look like a dork in the second one.

Don is so cool!!! And he looks great in all the photos.

I've thought about it.... The venue closest to me would probably be the one in either St. Louis or Chicago. Probably St. Louis. I've talked to my family about it. It's coming right up in the first part of June so I'm still thinking about it but now that I have a sinus infection that I thought was going away that is rearing it's ugly head again (I swear I have chronic recurrent sinusitis - probably need to pay a visit to my ENT again but that's for another subject another time) - I don't know if it's possible. But boy would I enjoy it. I also love Styx and Foreigner too but I know I couldn't do all three. I have adrenal insufficiency (a form of Addison's Disease) which means heat = disaster if I don't have good AC and salt to keep me hydrated. I've been in the ER and/or ambulance on IV's enough to know that it isn't a good combo (heat and sickness). Such a bummer but c'est la vie.

Glad it was such a fun experience, Soda and thanks for sharing it with us. Holding that Hotel California double-neck would have been too cool for words for me!

Austin - I don't want to sound like I am pushing because you know your own health but I sure wish this would work out for you. While reading Soda's VIP experience I kept thinking about you and how much you would get out of it since you love guitars and the tech talk. I know nothing about guitars and I would have loved it! And I probably would not have been able to add anything to the conversation with DF but I know you would.

    A review with pictures:

Felder opened the show with the Eagles hit “Already Gone.” Fronting a tight four piece band, Felder played Eagles songs effortlessly, working the crowd into a frenzy with “Life in the Fastlane,” “Witchy Woman” and others. Felder showed why he was and will always remain an important part of the Eagles, as his guitar playing was flawless.

I was just updating my concert diary (something I haven't done for several months, obviously) and I realized that this show was 5 years and 5 days after the last Don Felder show I attended! Just some trivia that means nothing to anyone but myself, lol, but I thought it was neat.
