At a Don Henley solo show, you can pretty much count on Desperado, Hotel California, and Life in the Fast Lane. You'll probably get a couple others as well; in his shows from the last few years, you'll typically get One of These Nights, The Long Run, and/or Witchy Woman in addition to the Big Three. I think his setlists vary from about 20-30% Eagles, depending on whether or not he's got new music to promote and it's a real tour, or if it's a casino one-off type show where they just want hits.

This one's from his most recent show at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, Februrary 2013.

    Dirty Laundry
    The Long Run
    Sunset Grill
It Don't Matter To The Sun
    Everything Is Different Now
    New York Minute
    Last Worthless Evening
    One Of These Nights
    End Of Innocence
Everybody Wants to Rule the World
    Everybody Knows
    The Heart Of The Matter
    Boys Of Summer
All She Wants To Do Is Dance
    Life In The Fast Lane
    Hotel California
    Desperado

Thanks guys. Thinking back I do remember seeing a YT video of him doing OOTN at a solo show: he introduced the concept of either the HOTE doc or tour beforehand so it must have been recent-ish.

The first we ever heard of HOTE as far as I know was when Glenn announced that they would be making a DVD during his first concert in Niagara Falls on 23August 2011.

So I guess it's never been discussed by the band, or former band members, how they make these decisions?
You'd imagine they are the sorts of things that could lead to arguments.

I saw the history tour two weeks ago in Dublin, and I have to say that the Walsh songs stuck out like a sore thumb in that set.
For me, usually, the solo spots are some of my favourite parts of the show, but in this particular concert, not so much.

It was a weird set, because some of it seemed really fresh, like doolin'-dalton and those shoes, and some of it seemed really forced, like Joe's stuff, and the likes of Heartache tonight, which I guess they think they have to play at every show. It made the show seem a little less coherent than it could have been.

For me songs like Last Resort and Seven Bridges Road would have been much better fits than Funk 49 and Rocky Mountain Way.

I think they could have also done with skipping Love Will Keep Us Alive this time, and maybe played Get Over It instead.
It felt like, in places, they just took the set they have been playing since 95, and spruced it up with a few new ones.
I am almost totally with you. If I wanted to hear Joe solo stuff, I would go to a Joe show. Personally I don't see how anyone would rather hear Rocky Mountain Way or Funk 49 than Boys of Summer or Seven Bridges Road or Bitter Creek or Outlaw Man. It isn't Eagles history to me. Mind you, I also really hate Those Shoes.

To me, it's just Henley-by-numbers. Sort of lazy. Same themes (manipulative, shallow women), run-of-the-mill tune. I was really surprised that they always play this live. Obviously it's popular but I just don't get it.

But I didn't get Timothy B. Schmit to begin with ...

They don't 'always' play Those Shoes live. This tour is the first tour they have ever played it since the Millenium shows.

Personally I am looking forward to seeing it because it will be something different.
