If my calculations are correct HC has 4 votes, Help Me Through The Night has one & Wasted Time, Heart of The Matter & In The City are tied with 2 votes each. I don't want to see HC go yet so I will wait a bit to see if any more votes come in for one of the latter three & vote for that.

I cast my vote for Help Me Through the Night.

That makes three votes for it. If we can get one more, it will tie and save Hotel California.

Default Results of Round 6: It just ain't fair to Help Me Through the Night

In an exciting last minute rally, we have a tie. So, by virtue of the tiebreaker rule, the next song performance to be eliminated in the Hell Freezes Over DVD Survivor is Help Me Through the Night. “Help Me Through the Night”, the tribe has spoken and we took the dream away. It’s such a price to pay and it won’t ease your pain, but you must leave the island immediately.

Sorry folks, for nearly stuffing up the vote to save HC in the last round.
I thought I was being helpful by voting for 'In the city' (as per GlennLover's post), only to find that dreamer had voted for 'Help me through the night' while I was typing and pressing 'submit'.

    ADDED:
Duh! I meant to say, that had I seen dreamer's post in time I would have voted for 'Help me through the night'.

No problem, UK Timfan. I knew what you meant. Anyway, we were able to save Hotel California for another round. I knew that Help Me Through the Night was the one I had to vote for because it was the only one of the vote-getters that would be eliminated in the event of a tie since it was the only song that had more previous votes than Hotel California. If Wasted Time or In the City had tied, Hotel California would have still been eliminated. I probably should have that explained that in my earlier post. My bad!

Thumbs up Re: Hell Freezes Over DVD Survivor Game

Okay - I'm going to jump in here early this time and suggest forming another alliance in an attempt to save Hotel California for at least one more round. If you want to protect it, then let's band together and vote for The Heart of the Matter. It's a gorgeous song, and I love Don's introduction when he says that it took 42 years to write it, and about 4 minutes to sing it. However, IMO, the performance isn't as entertaining as Hotel California on this DVD. And, of course, at the risk of beating a dead horse, it is more of a solo performance than one that showcases a band reuniting after 14 years. I'm going to wait to vote to see if the coalition sticks, but I'll definitely join in if it works ...

    SAVE HOTEL CALIFORNIA!!!

VOTE FOR THE HEART OF THE MATTER!!!
