OK, TLR, you can ignore me. I vote for The Last Resort because based on previous rounds it has a reasonable chance of going next. Whoever decided to sequence this directly after NYM - I don't know what they were thinking. As for the performance Glenn doesn't even play piano on it. The rest of them just sit there virtually unseen until the end.

lol, tlr. I suggest we try to form an alliance to save The Last Resort. Based on the votes in the previous rounds, I was thinking this round will be a battle between The Last Resort and Help Me Through the Night. They are both beautiful songs, IMO, but once again, we are supposed to be judging the performances instead of the songs. However, both performances very much feature the lead singer instead of the band and are similar in style. So, I am suggesting that we save the Eagles song. So, if you want to save The Last Resort, please join the coalition.

No way, no how!! HMTtN is my fav. on the DVD!! Most moving performance by far.

Nope, not at all, Austin. I love HMTTN. It gets stuck in my head, love those harmonies. And, it is so moving, I am really surprised to see it on the chopping block this early in the voting. I love the live footage in HoTE, too, but I know we're not voting on that one.

I think of Help Me Thu the Night as part of Eagles history. The original recording was the first time Joe worked with Glenn, Don H and Randy and then the live recorded version had Glenn, Don H and Don F. Apart from being melodic, it's touching.

I'll stick with The Last Resort until it goes. After that, I'm going to struggle.

I love both TLR and HMTTN and at this point, I can't choose either one so I'm going to vote for Hotel California

I know many don't agree with me but I love that its just Don singing for most of the The Last Resort and the others join in for the ending - I read somewhere that Glenn has called this 'Henley's Opus' and that's what it is on HFO!
I also love the harmonies on HMTTN - the song is just mellow and laid back and its nice to see them so relaxed and just enjoying the song.

I still don't like this arrangement of HC - the Spanish guitars just annoy me and that's why I'm voting for it
