    SH, I just read your post on the last page--I am from Birmingham. I'm glad you enjoyed our city--I love it here!

    Here are a couple more driving songs I need to include:

    I Can't Drive 55--Sammy Hagar
    Life is a Highway--Rascall Flatts
    West Bound & Down--Jerry Reed (remember this one from the Smokey & the Bandit movie?)

    I like those, too, DF! West Bound and Down reminds me of the one called Convoy. Remember that one?

    I think I've never heard these songs but Steppenwolf. Or I've heard these and didn't know who it was.

    I just wanted to add a song to my list: Listen To The Music by Doobie Brothers. Love this song as well as What A Fool Believes by Michael McDonald.
