I've decided. Since "The Sad Cafe" is on The Greatest Hits Vol 2, I don't think it's really that underrated. Thus...
I cast my vote for The Sad Cafe.
Sad Cafe
So Put Me On A Highway And Show Me A Sign
And Take It To The Limit One More Time..............
I'm voting for the Good Day In Hell again. I like the other two.
This is tough. I can think of so many Eagles songs that I think are more underrated than those remaining. Listening to a set with GDIH, Tryin' and Chug All Night, I'd put GDIH last. I like Sad Cafe, but I'd choose After the Thrill is Gone over it.
This time I choose Good Day in Hell.
Obviously, I vote for Good Day in Hell.

WOW! Looks like this round is going to go down to the wire.
I'll go ahead and vote now since I think the DD/Desperado Reprise is safe this round. Also no surprise here ...
I cast my vote for The Sad Café.

I vote for The Sad Cafe. Nice song, but not as underrated as the other 2 left (included on just about all the various greatest hits compilations). Frankly, I'm surprised it has made it this far into the game (pleased to see it that it has, though).
I think I have to vote for The Sad Café in this round - as much as I love it, as others have pointed out, it did appear on Greatest Hits Volume 2 and other compilation albums, which ignore both GDIH and the Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise, in the case of the former often in favour of inferior songs (the exclusion of the latter from such discs reflects the general lack of regard the compilers seem to show for the Desperado album as a whole, which is a shame in my view). I love the other songs too and they are more underrated to me.
Having said that...
...I totally agree with this post, aside from the fact that the song has always been a personal favourite. I've always loved Felder's acoustic guitars on the song. The mood of the song is somewhat bittersweet I guess, but it never felt like a totally sad end to me. The song ends with the narrator's acceptance that the old times are gone, but also with him suggesting meeting the other person once again inside the 'Sad Café' - I've always thought of this as reliving good times. The fact that the song has made it so far has pleased me greatly, I did not think my fondness for it was as commonly held as it is before we did this Survivor.
I have realised that this post in conjunction with my previous posts may have made it clear which song I intend to vote for as the ultimate winner of this survivor, and I will give it away by saying that I'm confident I will be able to vote for it in the final. There are others I'd have been happy to vote for if it hadn't made it into the final two, but this one seems a worthy winner to me (although others may disagree of course).
I vote for Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise
I vote for 'Good day in hell'.
