I vote for "Doolin Dalton/Desperado Reprise" for the win. DESPERADO is my favorite Eagles album and this is one of the finest moments on it.

Well, it's a no-brainer for me! I wanted Good Day In Hell to win, but as it went down last round.....

I vote for Doolin' Dalton/Desperado Reprise for the win!

Not much more praise I can add other than to agree with all of you that have voted for it!

    It's just plain beautiful!

I get the impression that the Eagles live performances of Doolin-Dalton / Desperado's during the HOTE tour has made a major impact on the voting. Maybe it's not as underrated as people believe.

The Eagles say their longevity is down to song power but having witnessed many great songs murdered by awful performances I think a large chunk of the credit should be given to the band's enduring musical talent.

All my favourites are long gone. Of the two remaining album tracks, I've seen neither live, I'd prefer The Sad Cafe to be named best underrated or unheralded Eagles song. I still can't quite perceive DD/D as a song.

I'm surprised it made it this far but in the final round I vote for The Sad Cafe.

Congrats to the winner. All the tracks have gained some much deserved extra exposure. (except maybe Most Of Us Are Sad).

You have hit the nail on the head, F50! Obviously, great songs are needed, but it's only part of the reason they are selling out venues. They know how to put on a high quality show and still make it about the songs.

Truth be told I'm not a big fan of The Sad Cafe, but in this case I do prefer it to DD/DR. I just wasn't a fan of that whole concept album about outlaw cowboys. For some strange reason I relate more with their second concept record, HC, which was about California stars and excess, don't ask me why LOL!

IMO the true gem of Desperado is Out Of Control, that was about the heaviest they got until Felder, and then Walsh came in the band with songs like Already Gone, Victim Of Love, Life In The Fast Lane, Those Shoes, Heartache Tonight (with Joe's slide and Glenn's rhythm), etc...
