I saw this on FB, but sadly I do not think I can enter as I'm not in the US. I'd fly there though at my own expense if I won it!

I'm going to this show but haven't been to Atlantic City in quite a few years. I've been told by a couple people that had worked there that it's really gone downhill and is very dangerous at night now. Just wondering where people that are going or have gone before suggest staying. The closest is Caesars but that's $500 on Friday night so that's out. If I stay somewhere further away, I'll need to get a cab or jitney after the show and was wondering how hard that would be. Don't want to end up standing out there waiting a long time for a cab alone. Appreciate any suggestions anyone might have.

Sorry, the only times I've been to AC was to see the Eagles and then Don at the Revel, and we stayed there. We didn't go out at night or take a cab anywhere. Hopefully, someone else around here has some ideas.

YES. you are absolutely right. AC has gone downhill it definitely isnt the hot spot like it used to be. if i had my own house i would have been more than happy to house fellow fans. everything is either closing and with that result the places that are open is jacking up room prices. my sister actually stayed there last weekend and there was a legit homicide in the room next to her. i dont even go at night anymore. it has gotten ridiculous. i just hope the men will be safe there
