I saw this article on Twitter about That Old Flame. Interesting review on it.

Don's this week's, record of the week on BBC Radio 2, which, I think, has the biggest listener-ship in the UK.

...Well it sure makes you wonder the things that some people will say. They can see black and white but they don't seem to notice the grey...
Wow, whatever the reviewer's opinion of Don being 'vicious' - I think he/she wrote a pretty vicious review. Talk about putting your own interpretation on something! He/she obviously does not rate Don highly as an individual and is just superimposing their views onto this song...strange.

It seems to be a case of knowing too much - or thinking you know too much - before listening to the song. I'm scratching my head over Frey's woman-hating songs.
The only song that could be considered a bit "woman hating" is Lyin' Eyes(with the love triangle), but that song was written by both Glenn and Don!
I guess it's impossible to be unbiased (either way) when writing reviews.

People don't run out of dreams, People just run out of time
Yeah that review is certainly a different interpretation than mine. Actually, of the four songs that I've heard from Cass County, That Old Flame is my favorite. I love the upbeat tempo and Don's and Martina's voices together.

Since Don sang some of the Cass County's song. Here's an article from last night's taping. Don looks good. Looks like he dyed his hair and I love his clothes. No plaid shirt. Looks like some of the musicians are wearing hats.
