    Default RIP Cory Wells

I just heard that Cory Wells...one of the Three Dog Night has died at age 74. ..They were one of the very first groups I remember loving as a young girl...and I thought it was cool that Cory was from Buffalo!...my favorite song of their's was 'Shambala'...

Aw man. I better let my mom know. She loves 3 Dog Night(one of her favorite bands from her childhood as well). I'm familiar with and like the hits (Mama Told Me Not to Come(my favorite), Joy to the World, One etc).

    RIP Cory.

Three Dog Night's music is certainly part of the soundtrack of my life. Joy To The World is one of my all time favourite songs.

    RIP Corey

That's sad. They were the first band I ever saw live. They just performed at the local county fair this summer. I wish I could have been there.

I was stunned to see this on the news last night.

Apparently the band is going to continue touring - it's only Danny Hutton left now from the original three singers. Chuck Negron is doing his own thing and has been for some time.

I have a ticket to see Three Dog Night co-headline with America a few weeks from now. "The Show Must Go On" I guess, to quote one of their hits.

My favorite is "Shambala" too, Zelda. They had a lot of great songs:"Black & White", "Liar" "Never Been to Spain," brings back happy childhood memories

This is very sad news. My heart goes out to Cory's loved ones at this time. I also loved Three Dog Night back in the day. They had some great songs!

Cory and Danny have been touring together for years. Cory had to drop out last month due to severe back pain. I don't believe Chuck Negron ever performed with them again after the band broke up in 1976. He had a really bad drug problem for decades, as you probably know.
