I saw a post about it on David's official Facebook page, but everyone there said that it was a hoax and that his page has been hacked. Since the New York Times has written about it, I guess that it's true. RIP David. Another great talent gone too soon. Cancer sucks.

I'm speechless. This one was a bit too close to home for me emotionally. I can just say RIP Mr. Bowie (Jones).

Me? I have never intentionally written or recorded a song that sounds like Bowie, but whatever I do - heavy stuff, standard ballad stuff, weird "experimental" stuff, whatever - I'll get the comment "sounds like Bowie". So yes, I guess he was an influence!
