Btw, I mentioned in another thread that I Heart Radio has a Glenn tribute station. They are playing Glenn and Eagles songs. There are some clips of Glenn talking too.

I think that I'll try to listen to some of Glenn's music tonight after my mom goes to bed. When the tears do come, I don't want to have to explain why to her. I heard the last 30 seconds of Heartache Tonight on the radio about 2 hours ago, and I nearly lost it when Glenn did the last "whoo whoo".

Here's a nice, short article featuring a cousin on his dad's side.

I'm thankful for a place where we can all put our differences, bias, and favorites aside for a moment and just remember a great person, great talent, and the founder of this band, which for many of us is our favorite. We can comfort each other and at the same time, really share great stories and pictures we may or may not have seen or heard.
I've been playing all of my favorite Glenn Eagles songs today and some of his solo songs. I plan to watch HOTE, HFO, and F1 again soon and also the Live In Dublin DVD. I'll probably watch the Dublin DVD this weekend.
The one I keep playing most today is After The Thrill Is Gone. I've come to really, really love that song and I now consider it the most underrated Eagles song in my book. I posted it to my FB timeline. I love the lyric content, and I love the smooth RnB sound that is on it and most of the OOTN record. And right now, I really resonate with that song.

The hypocrisy is staggering. All it does is invite more crap.
I've been listening that station since I got the notification about it. I love the interviews and clips of Glenn. I didn't know that New Kid in Town was his favorite that he sings. That's my favorite of his too.
They kinda playing the same songs over and over. I wish they put more songs. They did that with David Bowie's tribute station. They are the playing all the same songs over and over with his. When I heard the song already, I go to another Iheart station of the guys. I usually go back later.
I have Glenn as one of my favorite Iheart Radio stations along withDon, Joe, DonF, them as a group and the songs from the different albums of there's.
