This is new for me: Mark Leadon, Bernie's brother, did a tribute song for Glenn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1y2e...sa_irZ9m3FhUxU

I'd never heard that either, Delilah. Thanks for sharing it. Interesting the way that he was inspired by Glenn's last words to Bernie.

You can definitely hear the similarities to his brother's sound.

Wow - What a great find, NMB. Thank you so much ... I hadn't ever seen that either. I think it was very clever how he interjects Glenn's words and song lyrics into his tribute. I wonder if Bernie helped Mark write the song.

Beautiful. I'd be willing to bet that's Bernie on backing vocals.

    Four years today.

I have a guest over this weekend, so I can't be as expansive as I would like, but GlennsAllnighter posted this on Facebook and I think it expresses just what I'm feeling:

Amen, Charlie Brown. You are not alone! I still miss Glenn Frey every day, too. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him by virtue of visiting this board. I remember the discussions that Soda and I had soon after Glenn passed and we thought even though the board would eventually become inactive, it would remain a good resource and living memorial to Glenn and the band. And now, even though there is not as much activity as there once was here, we still have a good number of active members and get thousands of guest visitors every day. So, while we are still here, it looks like our predictions were partially correct in that Eagles fans around the globe still visit the forum. Hopefully, The Border will remain a fitting archive and tribute to America's greatest band for years to come.

On a personal note, this is the first year I have actually been home on this anniversary since Glenn's passing. As I have the past couple of years, I am reposting my tribute collage that I made to honor this man who had such a huge positive impact on my life ...

Thanks for the memories, Glenn. You live on in the minds and hearts of your many fans all around the world. Keep rockin' the heavens.

Hard to think of Glenn and not wish like hell he was still here. Piano singing. Working on a great song.

Yes Charlie Brown does indeed say it all. Well it was just about this time 4 years ago that the unbelievable news was just filtering through. So I've lit my candle, said a prayer for him and drunk a tequila sunrise. I still think about him all the time. I trust he is safe and that I will meet him one day. I will always love and miss him. Glenn ♥️ Frey Rest in Peace
