I was there many years ago before the truck and statue were put there. We took pictures but God knows where they are now.
Wow - 40 years for TLR. HT is my favorite song on the album. Dreamer, you are so right - Glenn is missed so much.

I'm so thankful I got to see it two years ago! Standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona was a bucket list moment for me, let alone that I got to see Glenn's memorial there too!

The first time I saw Glenn was when he played at the Troubadour. The next time I saw him it was with Don playing in Linda's band. It was a great time for music back then. The Troubadour, Whiskey A Go Go, Rose Room and many I can't even remember now.

What a wonderful time! Was Glenn with Longbranch Pennywhistle, or by himself? I've wondered if he ever worked solo in the early days. Any details of those early shows would be appreciated!😁

I saw Linda Ronstadt at UC Riverside gym back in the day. Glenn & Don were her back up band. Those were the very best of times and it was so great to be growing up in Southern California.

Those of you who saw those early shows are so lucky. Heck, as many of you may know, even though they were always my favorite band, I never saw them at all until 2003. I tried my best after that to make up for lost time after that, but you can't really.

He was with Longbranch Pennywhistle. I don't recall ever seeing him solo but that doesn't mean he may have played solo at one time. After he and Don left Linda she had Waddie as a guitar player and back up singer.
