Hi everyone, I'm Amanda from Columbus, Ohio!!! I've been a lurking around for awhile since I found this forum after looking up things on Glenn Frey when he passed and finally decided to join. I've been a fan of the Eagles and Glenn since birth as I'm actually what you would call a 2nd generation fan. My parents are huge Eagles fans as are many of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I come from a musically talented family myself (I can sing & play piano a bit) and Eagles songs were always sing-alongs. Some of my earliest memories involve their songs and I can remember being very little (around 4) in the backseat of my parents' car singing along with "Take it Easy" with my younger brother and parents. I'm going to post more in the Glenn remembrance thread as he was the one I was always drawn to but I love the whole band and it's still hard to believe he's gone. He was my Mom's favorite and one of her teen idols and it's been hard on her as well. It felt like losing a family member and I went though this before when my fav Beatle George Harrison passed away almost 15 years ago (when I was 15).

But I'm glad I found this place as I've found a few to talk with about it on Tumblr and Twitter, and my FB friends that are fans. I have the same username on Tumblr & Twitter so I'm there too. I also write. That is one thing music has inspired me with and I've self-published 3 novels, a novella, and my 4th novel is coming in the summer (hopefully getting the editing done LOL). I have more info about that on my Twitter profile. I'm also a fan of many TV shows, movies, books, writers, actors, athletes, and musicians. Looking forward to posting on here more and talking with you all.
