I love so many but my favorites would include What Do I Do With My Heart, Tequila Sunrise, Lyin Eyes, How Long, Already Gone, True Love, The One You Love, The Shadow of Your Smile and the Girl from Yesterday....just to name a few!
He had such an AMAZING voice that was so unique that he could sing everything from southern rock, R&B to country or melt your heart with a love ballad! I'm still sad that he has never been given the true accolades he deserves! I doubt he did it for the recognition, but I hope he felt a true sense of accomplishment of seeing his vision fulfilled. They were the embodiment of complete perfection .....great songs brought to life with meaningful lyrics and complete harmony.

I will always be thankful that they came along in my lifetime. I hope they know some small measure of the joy they have provided to their millions of fans! <3 #MusicForAllTime!

Heartache Tonight is one of my favorite Eagles songs. Love his voice on it. 3 lesser known songs of his solo career that I love vocally are Long Hot Summer(his voice makes it feel really hot), Call on Me, and Flip City(love the evil mysterious sound to his voice).

That tribute contains a link to an mp3 version of the show. The stripped down Peaceful Easy Feeling is introduced around 15:40 and starts at 16:24.

[In this show, I love the song that begins at 1:03:30 and as a vocal it makes a nice contrast with PEF]
I LOVE it all! I was fortunate to see The Eagles twice but never just Glenn alone. Such a huge regret as I know it would have been just as amazing! I loved the playful banter as well as the variety of songs especially the encore! That man could sing ANYTHING!

I would love to add this recording to my collection. Anyone know how to save it??? HELP!!!

Obviously, the songs from the Eagles days are unbelievable. As far as the songs with the best vocals from his solo days, I'd rate them:
    3. After Hours
    2. True Love
    1. The One You Love

I love the emotion in his voice in each of these songs. All classics.

Great choices. I adore "After Hours" especially.

I was listening to "Part of Me, Part of You" today, and his voice really moves me in that song. It's hard to describe... hope, longing, love, vulnerability, fierce determination.... all rolled into one.

So hard because it even depends on my mood. If I'm up for rocking music or a slow sultry ballad/ But some of my favourites would be

    Somebody

    After Hours

I did it for Your Love
'I must be leaving soon... its your world now'

I love "Part of Me, Part of You" as well. "Thelma & Louise" was on the TV on the weekend and I caught the last part of the movie. Such a beautiful song with sensitive lyrics - bought a lump to my throat...
I also love "Heartache Tonight" and "Ol55".
I better stop here otherwise I will write an essay!

One from Glenn's solo career that is not mentioned often but that I absolutely love is "That Girl" - just beautiful.
