Joe Walsh and Bad Company in Mansfield, MA - June 9, 2016

This event popped up on my Facebook page. Apparently, on June 9th, Joe Walsh and Bad Company will do a show together iat the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. I've searched for more info, but I haven't found anything else.

You're welcome, Soda. I wasn't sure where to post it, since right now, this show appears to be a one-off. Joe's Facebook page has added the event, but Bad Company's hasn't. (It's not very active). Suffice it to say that I wish that I lived in Mass. because I'd kill to see Joe and my favorite band at the same show.

ETA: I don't know about how the billing is. Bad Company in the past decade has always either done gigs by themselves or did a double headliner with Lynyrd Skynyrd. I can't really see them "opening" for Joe. Also, as a Bad Company fan, this whole thing came out of the blue. I haven't heard anything about the band in almost a year, apart from a new greatest hits cd. There's been rumors of a new album, so maybe they are doing something. .

This is the sort of bill Joe was playing in his pre HFO (drunk) days. I hope there's a new album to plug.

I just checked out Bad Company's tour page and they're doing another show without Joe later in the month. At this point, it looks like a one-off double-headliner. I guess we'll see if it develops into something more.

Can you link the tour page, Soda? I admit that I don't check for new dates often, but Bad Company's website (or Facebook page) doesn't have any dates for 2016 listed. Paul Rodgers has a few solo dates in April, though. (They're almost as bad as the Eagles when it comes to social media and the internet)

I'm super happy that I paid to join Joe Walsh's fan club so that we're notified first when stuff like this is taking place. <<insert heavy sarcasm here>> Ugh. Absolutely no mention of this on the site. It kind of ticks me off.

The Mansfield concert has been removed from the events section of Joe's FB. Who knows.
