I wonder who will be playing bass for Bad Company since original bassist Boz Burrell died in 2006. They've had 2 different guys since. Howard Leese(from the band Heart) has been playing guitar with them since 2008. Of course, the other 3 original members are still playing (Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, and Simon Kirke).

I was kind of surprised that Joe is already getting out, but I can kind of understand it too. And I'm sure Glenn wouldn't want them to be sitting around doing nothing.

I think it would be great to see Joe and Paul Rodgers with Bad Co., but don't know if I will make it to St. Louis or not. We'll see how the summer comes along! Love Joe and love BC!

Yep - As I said earlier, I have no problem with the guys scheduling these tour dates - they are entertainers, it's their job ... it's what they do. I also think Glenn would want them to carry on. I personally doubt that they are doing this for financial reasons - I believe they do it because it's what they love doing.

But, for me personally, I'm just not feeling it right now. I don't know how long this will last, but I just don't want to hear or see anyone in concert right now. I've hardly listened to any music since Glenn's passing - it feels like for me that 1/18/2016 is the day the music died. As I said, I'm hoping that this feeling will pass in due time.

Man I wish some of these guys would schedule arena shows during the summer and not these stadiums or outdoor stages! I just can't handle the heat with my panhypopituitarism. I need AC!

This would have been one I would have went to in a heartbeat had there been an indoor show closeby.

Maybe they'll add more IL dates, and hopefully indoors!

As far as him touring right now - I think he's gotta do what he's gotta do and that's entertain and perform. I highly doubt Glenn would want him or DH sitting around moping, he'd want them back out on the road doing it again. However, it'll be very emotional for me the next time I see a JW or DH show - I have no doubts about that as I've only seen Eagles shows and not having Glenn there will be very sad.

As a UK Walsh fan I'm hoping the One Hell Of A Night Tour is successful enough to be extended to Europe. Bad Company being British may help that, although some, solo Walsh, UK festival dates would, imo, be even better.

I'm unhappy that Joe is sharing the billing, presumably playing a 75-90 minute set list.

The live concert experience has changed so much since the seventies. The availability of major venues has increased dramatically. Imho, Joe's got the catalog and personality to fill them but he needs to play at least 2 hours to sell the tickets, otherwise, it's going to take Joe so long to get round the USA, that he'll be done touring before he even considers a adding European leg.
I do understand this. I also agree with Dreamer that this isn't being done for financial reasons as Joe & Don are multi-millionaires. I also understand that Glenn wouldn't want them to sit around.

The bottom line is being where I am, I don't expect to see any of the three of them ever again.

Just saw where Waddy Wachtel (of Stevie Nicks and Keith Richards fame) is playing guitar for Joe on this tour.

Damn, I wish I could be there. I love Waddy.

    I love Waddy too!

As much as I adore Glenn and as distraught as I have been about his passing, I am glad the other guys are continuing to perform. As others have already said, Glenn wouldn't want everyone to shut down because he'd died.

Am I personally ready to see Joe, Don, Tim, etc? I think yes. I can't explain why when it's so difficult for me to move on in other areas. Maybe it's because I don't want everything to be over and this is proof that everything won't be, even if Glenn and the Eagles are. I don't know.

I will see Joe, even get the VIP meet'n'greet, if the prices are reasonable.

I'm not keen on the double-bill but I'll take what I can get. Joe hasn't done two-hour-plus solo shows for years, not even when he's the only act on the bill, so that's not the problem. I'm just not a big fan of Bad Company - I don't hate them or anything, but the ticket will be more expensive due to their presence, and I could do without them.

From what it looks like almost all of the venues are outdoors. The Blossom Music Center in Ohio is and holds about 18,000 to 19,000. In the summer months almost all the concerts are outdoors unless it's someone that's going to have a huge crowd that one of the arenas have to have it.
