Default Take It To The Limit: Radio Broadcast 1986

Have been noticing this new release on Amazon of late. Curious if anyone's familiar with this broadcast or has actually had the chance to listen to the CD. Am, of course, interested in buying and listening to it, but want to wait for the price to come down just a little bit more.

Having done some research, some of the tracks appearing on this CD are the title track, "Heartache Tonight," "Party Town," and "You Belong to the City."

I bought this. It's the Tokyo show, with Christopher Cross, that was filmed and recorded for Japanese tv. There are bootlegs of the tv show available and you can see some of it on youtube.

In short, it's a good quality audio recording of that show.

Just got this in the mail and have given it a full listen. Was not sure how a radio performance released on CD would sound(I am very new to these sorts of releases), but I must say I was impressed. This is a real gem of an album(on the whole, I'd say better than the live album from the early 90's), and worthy of an addition to anyone's Glenn Frey/Eagles collection.

    Track listing:

    1. "I Got Somebody" 4:27
    2. "Sexy Girl" 3:32 (The best version I've heard so far!)
    3. "Take it to the Limit" 4:07 (If you want a taster of this song's role in post-Randy Eagles concerts, this recording is your best and only bet.)
    4. "You Belong to the City" 6:20
    5. "The All-Nighter" 3:46
    6. "The Heat is On" 3:35
    7. "Party Town" 3:13
    8. "Heartache Tonight" 4:36
    9. "Slow Down" 4:39

In related news, I am really looking forward to the upcoming CD release of the Eagles' 1974 Beacon Theater performance!

Thanks for the vids UTW!!! I saw the first one before but not the others. Loved hearing him and Christopher sing "Slow Down" as I love the Beatles version. And he was adorable in that little interview at the end. LOL I also didn't know he sang "Take it to the Limit" during this as I thought he started singing lead on it in the late 90s.
