I always hoped MTV would play "The Long Run" on their "Closet Classics" segment in the mornings. Seeing Glenn in that half unbuttoned shirt was always a day brightener!!

@NKIT -- there is a Classic MTV channel, but we don't get it anymore since we dropped cable. But this was waaaaay back in the 80s, when I could watch it all day in the summer time. LOL. They had a 60-minute segment every morning called "Closet Classics" where they played older music. Sometimes it was as recent as late 70s. Other times, it was Beatles or Jefferson Airplane. Never knew what you were gonna get. Always irritated me when they played "HC." It was long and there wasn't nearly enough Glenn in it. "New Kid" or "Lyin' Eyes" were both certainly acceptable. (These were all from the Capitol Concert shows.) And of course, ICTYW or Long Run worked.
And Dreamer, yes. Yes, that was exactly what I was talking about!
I posted another picture of Glenn's Aspen home in Boyd Elder's memorial thread. I got it off the web when the house went up for sale. But I didn't want to take that thread off-topic so I thought I would post a link to the other pictures here for those who are interested.
Since this is the photo thread, I'll go ahead and post another one here of his music room which displays some of his awards, including some of his Grammies.

Dreamer - Thank You for the pictures. That Aspen house sure was beautiful. I wonder what the heels(shoes) on the shelf mean ?
Pippin- TY, I knew there was a classic MTV. What I meant to say/ask, is the show on tv anymore. I have not watched MTV since the mid 90's - lol.
Love that Aspen home! I, too, wonder what the shoes on the shelf were from.
Thanks, Dreamer!

Very beautiful that Aspen house!
I can see a helmet on the shelf, did Glenn ride a motorbike?
- As far as the shoes, could they be Dorothy's ruby slippers? lol
And tie - I've never seen any pictures or read anything to indicate Glenn rode motorbikes, but you never know.
My guess is they are secret memorabilia/gifts that were special to Glenn.

Since Cindy is a dancer, I had just assumed they were the shoes that she wore for a favorite performance, or a special occasion.
