I just thought I would mention that I will be having major surgery for a liver tumour some time in the next 30 days. I won't know if it's benign or malignant until after the operation, but it's very, very large & has to come out. It has been a stressful time for me as I'm sure you can appreciate!

Also very hot here in Sydney, a long hot summer, which is not helping. I have absolutely NO discomfort, but I'm conscious of it all the time.

FP, please know that I will be hoping and praying for the very best outcome.

Thanks all. I should point out that even if it is malignant, it has not spread from the liver. I've been very lucky in that regard at least.

I was just going to post in this thread (I've already posted in a couple of the game threads) just to say that I'm back now after my break. Then I read about FP and her impending operation, and frankly that is a heck of a lot more important than me just returning to the board after a couple of months away. FP, I am very sorry to hear about your situation and really hope the operation goes well and that you start to feel better soon.

Sorry to hear this Julie, Its awful that you have to go through this major surgery but I'm glad its contained and that you should make a full and speedy recovery. We will all be thinking of you. Please let us know how you are progressing. Sending lots of prayers hugs and Irish luck
