Happy 6th Birthday to Cass County on yesterday.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Happy (belated) Anniversary to Cass County!!

Reading up on it a little revealed this is Don’s highest-charting solo album, which peaked at #3 on the Billboard Top 200. He said he enjoyed making this album more than any in his career. It shows because this is a really good album.

I wonder if Glenn had a chance to listen to it and what he thought about it.

    Happy Belated Anniversary.

Definitely not my favorite Don album as I love the 80s synth-laden sound and the more rockin' or at least pop rock numbers of Building The Perfect Beast which is my favorite but I do like it a lot more than Inside Job. Personally I'd rate Don's solo albums like this. BTPB > EOTI > ICSS > CC > IJ.

Cass County is my least favorite of Don's solo work. Although, I like all the collaborations with other artists, I am just not a big fan of this genre of music. For the record, my rankings of Don's albums are EOTI, ICSS, BTPB, IJ, and CC.
