Default Agoura Hills, CA at the Canyon Club (January 8th, 2017)

On Sunday I went to see Timothy for a second night (I had gone to the coach house the day before) and he was absolutely phenomenal. Since my mom and I aren't from the area we drove by the venue a couple of hours early to see what the parking situation was. There isn't many spots off of Cornell but if you turn in the "whiz in market square" there is a big lot. While scoping out the location we spotted Herman Matthews and Bobby Carlos unloading the U-Haul outside of the venue. We arrived at the venue around 6 and were probably the 5th party to get there (contrary to the night before when there was a HUGE line). We sat down ordered our food and received it quickly. The place filled up pretty fast after that. The opener band started slightly before 8 and I believe they were called the Malibooz (I'm not sure though) and they played for 30ish minutes. Timothy came on right around 9 and started off with "One More Mile" from Expando. He announced his "special guest" John McFee from the Doobie Brothers who is extremely talented. Towards the end of the show I was giving a standing ovation for Timothy when he spotted me in the crowd and said "I like your shirt" I smiled and shouted a THANK YOU!! (It was a Leap of Faith Shirt for those wondering). He continued to smile at me for the rest of the show After the show we talked with Hank Linderman who gave us some guitar picks and kindly took a picture with me. We also talked with Herman Matthews who was very sweet.

    Ok, I'm soooo jealous. LOL....

Hey, tw, I hope you understand I'm just kidding around. I'm really glad that you and your mom got to go to the concerts and experience some "Timothy love!" It all just sounds so wonderful! Good for you.

Sounds great, TW! Do tell more! How were the shows different? Were there any surprise selections?
I know I wouldn't have minded Timothy smiling at ME all evening! Note to self: be sure to wear one of those shirts if you get to a show!

So happy for you, TW. How very lucky you were to get all that Timothy love. And glad to hear how much you enjoyed the shows. You go, girl!

The shows were very similar however Timothy changed up his tribute to Glenn on the first night since Jack Tempchin was opening. Tim usually sings Peaceful Easy Feeling but let Jack sing it instead and Timothy sang Tequila Sunrise. Since Jack didn't open for the Sunday show Tim sang Peaceful Easy Feeling.
It was always fun to watch when Timothy would forget a line because he would just start smiling and laughing. He didn't really notice me until the end of the show but I'll take all the time I can get
