    Default Scott proposes

Here is a little note from Scott Crago that was posted in Feed The Fire. I was in chat with Joe Walsh and Timothy last night and this really happened, although I can't be 100% sure this was written by Scott. Can you imagine being proposed to in front of all those people?

From: Scott Crago (Eagles back up drummer)

    Dear family and friends.

It was 5 years ago, almost to the day, that I met Elisabeth Brewer back
stage at the Boston Garden (then the Fleet Center). She was the on call
doctor for The Eagles Farewell 1 tour.

Last night, July 30th, 2008, In front of family, friends and 15,000
screaming fans at the (now)T.D North Bank Garden in Boston Massachusetts, I
asked the love of my life, Dr. Elisabeth Brewer to marry me. She had no
    choice but to say yes.

I had told no one of my plan except for our lighting director and 3 camera
operators. After Glenn Frey introduced me to my home town crowd, I unrolled
a scroll that I had made earlier in the day with block lettering that read
    ELISABETH... WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

An enormous roar went up as the sign was flashed onto our "big screens" for
all the Garden to see. A spot light hit Elisabeth as the video cameras
    caught her overwhelming shock.

    The moment was beautiful.

This is my 14th year with the Eagles and I never saw such big smiles from
Don, Glenn, Joe and Timothy as I did when I unrolled that scroll. My band
mates, friends and family are all very thrilled for Elisabeth and I, as I am
    sure you are as well.

The event was all caught on film, and I hope to share it with you at some
point. I only wish that you all could have been there for that moment. It
    truly was exciting.

After the show, I presented Elisabeth with her engagement ring. She
accepted.... and yes, I was on one knee.

Feel free to pass this on to other family members and friends. I know I don
    t have everyone's e-mail addresses.

All my best , and kind regards to you and your families.

    Scott

Oh Rckn, how romantic! Thanks for posting that. I wonder if anyone will have captured the announcement on film? I wish Scott and Elisabeth the very best for their future together.

(Btw, can I volunteer to be on call tour doctor next time? My fees are very reasonable - tickets would do!)

Question that I'm sure someone here (Steph?) can answer. Our friends were over last evening and the conversation once again turned to the Eagles (Hmm -wonder how?) and my friend was asking about the "cute keyboardist" meaning Will. Told her who he was but really don't have much info about him. Told her I bet I can get the info on him before I see her again Saturday. Is it already posted here somewhere that someone can direct me to or can someone tell me the info on him like age, marital status and stuff? I know he has been with Glenn and Don for a very long time on solo stuff also and that he has done a lot of work as musical director on other projects. Thanks!
