1978 live concert at Huntington Beach

Remember when we were trying to figure out who was playing the sax in Randy's 1978 band? I thought it may have been multi-instrumentalist Bray Ghiglia, but he told me (via Facebook) that it isn't. He said he played in the Randy Meisner - Rick Roberts Band from 1986 to 1991.

Thanks for checking it out, NMB. It seemed to me that Bray Ghiglia didn’t quite fit the timeline but what do I know. Btw, I thought it was the flute player we were wondering about?

Edit: I see now from post #46 that Donny said the same person played sax, clarinet and flute.

Same deal - Bray is a multi-instrumentalist, so I thought it could have been him on sax and flute.

Steve Edwards, who played guitar on Randy’s first solo album and tour, has shared that “Summer Wind” was a Bill Martin song. Mr. Martin also wrote the beautiful “Heartsong” Steve said that sadly Bill Martin passed away last year.
