The press kit files are too big to attach (in pdf), so I'm going to convert them to jpg and try to post them as pictures. While you're waiting, enjoy this photo of Randy from The Bluff, his and Donny's high school yearbook.

I bought the press kit on Ebay. I could make copies of it and ... there shouldn't be a problem with posting it here. Other people may enjoy it too.
Wow, that would be great if you could post that on this bulletin board !
    Thanx so much !

    Donny

I haven't been able to convert the second part (which mentions Donny!) b/c these online converters are playing games with me - only converting the first couple pages of a document.

Here are the photos from the press kit. Poor guy, he's so homely and plain. How'd he ever get into show biz with a mug like that?

I agree with you about Randy's looks. He used to regularly scare small children when we walked down the street together !

This thread is wonderful and so informative. It's great to have input from someone who actually worked with Randy!

NMB, thank you for posting the press kit items. I remember seeing one on eBay awhile back and trying to read those same pages, lol.

I love that Randy quote you posted about how Donny was too good of a singer to stay in Nebraska. And then Donny sings lead on a song during the show. It reminds me of Randy recommending his band mates from The Poor to Rick Nelson. It really speaks to his kind and generous nature.
