I can't believe this is only 10 days away. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the set list is and who sings what. I think Don and Vince singing "No Thank You" as they did on Don's Cass County album would be a fun addition - maybe with switching off the verses instead of just having Vince sing back-up. I doubt it will happen, though, for this kind of a show. Maybe if they add more tour dates.

Don's solo set lists tend to be the most interesting and adventurous out of the Eagles. There's a chance that they'll perform No Thank You but Don likes to be faithful to the album version. I expect Vince's Heartache Tonight will be closer to the original than Glenn's HOTE Tour version.

I saw an Eagles tribute set list that opened with Hole In the World and Heartache Tonight, obviously referring to Glenn's absence. I'm expecting a procession of hits but Don does pay attention to the lyrical content of songs so tracks specifically about loss, closure, rebirth etc. may sneak into the set list.

Thanks for posting that link, shun. OMG - Deacon does look so much like Glenn did around the same age. When I saw the picture, it immediately reminded me of one picture of Glenn when he was approximately the same age as Deacon is now. I put them side-by side and will post them over in Frey Fever.
