That was insensitive. Also, the interviewer did not mention (maybe he didn't know) that Randy used to be a member of the Stone Canyon Band. The interviewer was a local radio DJ Brian Beirne, who gave himself the moniker "Mr. Rock and Roll."

And we have the station now, Channel 11, KTTV.

Perhaps a general date could be listed, like “June 1986.” Very cool to see Randy being interviewed about the benefit in spite of the rather tacky question.

Thank you, Delilah. I was really impressed by the research you and others did to come up with the list. It's not easy hunting down things from 50 years ago.

Well, I’m kind of a research nerd so that helps.

Ladies and Gentlemen, a brilliant Japanese fan has found yet *another* episode of The Name of the Game featuring The Poor. The name of the episode is "Pineapple Rose" and it aired on December 20, 1968. Randy and the keyboard player are seen backing up actor Don Stroud who's portraying a singer (not very convincingly, IMO, as he's holding the mic wrong in some scenes). Fortunately, this scene is right after the opening credits. Here's a link to the entire episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZF15opuLJU

This is awesome! A big thanks to you and the eagle-eyed Randy fan who spotted this. At first I thought they just dubbed in some video from the other episode but it’s hard to tell, given the first shot where they are in the background. That singer is hilarious! I think that’s Randy Naylor on keyboards.

Now I’m curious about the song and whether The Poor actually performed on it.
