Alright......Im confused here. if you perform someone else's song in concert, you have to pay them? So what about all these artists, Little Big Town for example, who every now and then randomly perform another artist's song....such as HT or LITFL? I find it hard to believe that every time these artists sing one of these songs they to pay the songwriter. Now if they record the song, yes, I understand that. But just for performing it? Is that really how it works? If so that's just silly imo but that's just me. lol

It seems like a random cover once in a blue moon probably wouldn't count... but I really have no idea how they collect on these things. I don't think the RIAA is chasing down wedding singers.

I will have to think about this however as we are inevitably reaching the end of the touring Eagle's. I would like to see one thing even if they may be some of my favorites. I doubt it will happen but I would like to see a tour of only Eagles music, leave the solo music to the solo tours that are sure to follow. More time to experience some of the classics such as Wasted Time, The Sad Cafe', After The Thrill Is Gone, Take It To The Limit or One Of These Nights . The list goes on and on.......

I know, I am dreaming.

I've enjoyed reading each and every one of your posts on this topic, which made for very interesting reading. I know I'm rather late on this, but I don't always get the opportunity to contribute to threads where I really have to think about the topic. I certainly had to put a lot of thought into my "Wish List", and here it is. My fantasy encore would be Let's Go Home followed by A Walk In The Dark, and then I'd have to be carried out. So I propose that the first encore be A Month Of Sundays/Let's Go Home and the second encore be A Walk In The Dark /Talking To The Moon. Good, eh?

Highlighted text: I know how you feel, FP! I love those two songs, too. They make me want to with Glenn ... Heaven help me.

I need to ask you: are "A Month Of Sundays" and "Talking To The Moon" Don songs? Or Glenn songs I don't know about? Please excuse my ignorance. I've been concentrating on getting Glenn's solo collection together, as well as completing my official Eagles collection, so I haven't yet got started on any of the other members' solo work.
