Ah yes, I've read about your situation in the life thread.

Same here in Missouri, SH. We had spring like temps (73 F) yesterday and freezing rain and falling temps today. Right now it's 25 F. We are always saying Welcome to Misery (Missouri)!Originally Posted by SweetHolly

I woke up this morning and it is snowing--in March in Alabama!
This is the weirdest weather I can remember. Thursday I was eating lunch on our back deck in short sleeves and 72 degree sunshine, and two days later I wake up and it's 31 degrees and snowing.
One week from today is the start of my daughter's spring break from school and we are leaving for the beach. It is kind of hard to think about packing flip flops and floats while wearing snow boots.
Strange Weather indeed DF

We've had snow here in Tennessee also. It's really beautiful out today with the sun sparkling on the snow that's on the ground. My little one is making snowmen and snow angels, in EVERYONE's yard! She gave me one of those "if I only had my video camera" moments earlier. After rolling this huge ball of snow, she stood on top of it so proudly....and it promptly collapsed on her! She looked so surprised sitting in her snow beanbag chair!
I possess the silver bullets to slay the demons from my past. How do I know? Because I survived them-and I am already stronger than I believe.
Oh how cute rkn!!! One of those moments when your heart takes a picture.
Sounds lovely, rkn, even if unseasonal. We had one morning of snow on the moor a couple of weeks ago, but for the last two days have suffered a battering with storm force winds and a tidal surge. We've survived unscathed, but the neighbours' already rickety fence has blown down. They'll have to do something about it now!
62 F today and 40 F tomorrow!
And possible snow for Easter!
