Default Don Henley Helping Texans: A Hurricane Harvey Benefit Concert @ November 28, 2017

I finally found an article about last night. A few pictures from last night.

I saw a recap from the show last night on Facebook. They went into much depth and they posted Don's setlist too.

How cool is this. The audience even got to hear Please Come Home For Christmas.

The song capped a nearly four-hour show in which each artist did an individual set, concluding with a finale in which Black joined Henley for a performance of the Eagles’ “Desperado” (it was supposed to be a surprise, but Henley sheepishly admitted that he spoiled it beforehand) and then Lovett joined them for Henley’s holiday hit “Please Come Home for Christmas” and then for “Deep in the Heart.”

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

That's lovely that Don did this to help others there in his home state. What a great use of everyone's time! Thanks for filling us in, Shun!

Thanks to you, too, NMB! You know I love Lyle Lovett, too.

Thank you so much for posting those, Shun. The audio quality was actually pretty good, but I kept wanting to yell, "Down in Front!" LOL. It was great seeing all the back-up band and singers.

I really loved Please Come Home For Christmas and Desperado was pretty awesome. Don's voice sounded rested and powerful and he and Clint both sounded great. Wish I could have been there. It would be great if they sold DVDs for the benefit of the hurricane victims, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

Thanks Shun for the videos and article. It sounds like it was a good night for all. There are so many people still affected by Harvey so I'm glad that they did this and were able to raise money for them.
