I’m not sure where to put this exactly but Deacon made a post saying that his favorite Eagles song is pretty maids all in a row. I think that’s an interesting song choice. I cant say I agree but it is a song I like a lot

Really? Interesting choice. I'm surprised it isn't a song that his father sang. I love Pretty Maids, and it's one of my favorites of Joe's, but not a favorite by any means.
The man has good taste, well inside my top ten too.
I think choosing a Glenn song would be too predictable and obvious. PMIAR is interesting and a bit unexpected though. It reminds of what some of the students said in the Photo Analysis thread about Deacon admiring Joe and wanting to be like him.
I love the comment someone posted in response (on IG, btw):
“You are yourself and no one else; not filling the shoes but extending the walk.”

It’s only moments that you borrow...
Hmmm, interesting. Good song, but not in my top twenty. I would have thought he would pick a rocker!

It feels a bit weird to me he didn't pick a song of his dad's, and there are many to choose from...
Wow. Went to Instagram and all I want to know is what is with the video of the pet chimpanzee posted just below the PMIAR post?
Personally, I find this extremely troubling.
Laughing? Sorry, I don't think what I just watched is funny at all.

"Let's burn our long johns and head west" - Glenn Frey 1948-2016
Wow...that is just vile.
I've never been to his Instagram much but maybe once or twice.
That fact he is sharing that video which IMO constitues animal abuse is really sad and very disappointing in Deacon. Not cool. Glad to see some comments on his post that agree. Deacon still has some growing up to do, it seems, just from what I've seen on his social media accts. Frankly, I'd expect more maturity at his age.
I agree. That is not right.
But the thing is, it is not even shocking to me. As a Generation Z child who knows today's pop culture (not completely though) many stars, particularly rappers all engage in smoking and all that, though doing that to a chimpanzee is not funny at all. Also, I wouldn't really be surprised if his rapper friends found it funny. Thank God he is kinda low key, otherwise so tabloid outlets would pound on him with news stories.
The chemistry... nuff said
