Thanks again, shun for posting these links and well said pippin. I thought this portion of the interview was a little more structured and interesting than part 2.

I didn't want to bring this up, but is it me or does Alan sound a little like Joe.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

@shun -- Thanks again for posting! I really felt for him when he was talking about going to Glenn's service in LA. I know it must have been so tough.

I just noticed in the video that Eddie died last year. Oh no. I'm glad he's up there with his wife and Glenn probably keeping Glenn out of trouble.

Shun - Thanks for posting the interview. I also noticed it said Mr. Frey died in late 2017. All three are up there together now.
I really felt for Alan when he was talking about how hard the memorial was for him. Also, he said he was robbed and beat up getting out of his car two day before the memorial service. Did I hear him right when he said Henry D. had taken photos at the memorial ?
I don't know why the whole interview was not combined into one - it certainly is not that long. Thanks again Shun.
