Okay - This time I agree that it's time to pit the two remaining Walsh songs against each other. I am withholding my vote for now, but support YEF's effort to form a coalition to save Life's Been Good again.

As has already been stated, Life's Been Good is a classic rock anthem and many of us feel the Eagles version is even better than the original. In the case of ODAAT, I like the song and feel that the lyrics are really inspirational. However, IMO, Joe's rockin' version on Analog Man is far superior than the Eagles Farewell I version. I’m inclined to vote for Girl From Yesterday as I really like ODAAT. However I do agree with Dreamer that the Eagles Farewell version is not as good as Joe’s solo version. Those horns blaring at seemingly inappropriate moments and the corny la la’s really bring it down.

I see them in the same light. Both were on Eagles live albums, not studio albums. Yes, it debuted with the Eagles, but it's just as much of a solo song as LBG is to me anyway.

Yeah exactly WalshFan. That's how it is actually. Except Farewell I isn't an album per se. More like a DVD. Both are considered official "live releases" to me.
