Default UK Magazine Classic Rock December 2018 Features Eagles

    https://www.yourcelebritymagazines.c...attoo-bon-jovi

From the web site ad copy:
Eagles were one of the founding fathers of the genre of music that this magazine is named after, as you can read in our exclusive interview with Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit. After Glenn Frey’s unexpected death two years ago, we didn’t think we’d see the Eagles play again. And, for a good deal of time, neither did the surviving band members. But now they’re back, and an American dream continues.

Thanks for finding this, CAinOH - very interesting even though that last dream mentioned is my nightmare.

I agree as well, but I do like the cover of the magazine. Probably not enough to buy it, though.

Stumbled across this today in town when I was looking for something else, I have purchased it but am yet to read it. The last time they had a (lengthy) Eagles article it focused on the late 70s period from scoring their first Number 1 single to the demise of July 1980, with all the tales of coke, excess and money. it wasn't too bad but the quality of the magazine has gone down hill massively since then so I am not sure what to expect!

It looks like the Rolling Stone cover from ‘78/79 as well as the one for the Special Edition RS issued a couple of years ago. I’m surprised Classic Rock is allowed to use it.

Yeah, for a second, I thought it WAS the RS special edition. Maybe the photographer owns rights to the image, and not RS. To me it would have been better to use another photo anyway. Casual observers might think, "I already have that".

Hello I'm new to the forum. I was born on the release of the 'Hotel California' album.

Here's the article about The Eagles from Classic Rock magazine.

You have to scroll from left to right to read it.

    Thanks for that, RFF.

Good read, but I still haven't changed my mind-No Glenn Frey-no Eagles.

All good, fellow RUSH fans sometimes will say No Neil Peart - No RUSH.
