Randy to open for the Doobie Brothers?

I saw this on Sonic Past Music:

"Randy Meisner, the golden voice of the Eagles' 'Take it to the Limit' has put together a group and is now working out the details for opening some dates for the The Doobie Brothers on West Coast leg of their US Summer tour this year, and possibly more dates on that tour in other regions of the US as well."

It doesn't sound cemented. I hope it comes off for him.

Yes, so do I. I wonder if he's referring to the World Class Rockers mentioned in the interview I've just posted? I could be a great gig with the Doobie Brothers as well.
