Default New Hell Freezes Over 25th Anniversary Release

The Eagles have announced a new release, that being a re-issue of the HFO album on vinyl and cd coming out in march. The biggest thing to me is that it's nothing new! again!

Why even bother? The sound quality of the originals is fine. Without any extras, it's just another in a very long line of money grabs.

I'd be more interested in a higher quality video of HFO, personally.

I agree, WF ,and will expand on that. How about a high quality video with the COMPLETE show?

As far as improvements, it says the CD has been "remastered." It's apparently the same one that's in Legacy, just released on its own.

It's the first time it's been widely released on vinyl, which will excite collectors.

    No artwork, though.

And, as has already been noted, nothing we haven't seen before.

Man, you'd think they'd put a little more effort into a 25th anniversary re-release. Look what they did for Hotel California. Comparatively, this is pretty limp.

Agree with everyone. They never seem to stop with the money grabs. I saw on FB that a lot of people said the same thing. How about releasing a dvd of HOTE Tour. that is what I want to see.

NKIT, that's what I want. Sick of the same stuff being released again and again and again!

As someone who owns all Eagles albums on vinyl but this one, I'm excited! I noticed there seemed to be a mass influx of "unofficial" European versions lately on eBay, but had no desire to spend $100 on a copy.
