That was the last throw of the dice 🎲 and I was gonna send an mp3 file with half the song in an email to their publicist if I'd gotten onto Booking Agent Info but... oh well 🙄🙃

C J -- I am all about people pursuing things that make them happy -- so I wish you the very best of luck in your endeavor.

I have no connections to the Eagles at all -- and, to be honest, when I'm in the car or at home by myself, I tend to listen more to things like TED talks, NPR, etc., than music -- but since getting married I listen to music a lot more and hear all about different bands, etc., as my husband is a big music lover.

In fact, we just returned from a trip -- and when we were in Vegas, a successful musical artist, who my husband and his brothers are friendly with, came to hang out with them for a day -- although it turned out that he was really more interested in talking with my Dad, who is a lawyer, as this musician decided to part with his manager a few years ago and handle most of the business side of things in-house -- and he wanted to pick my Dad's mind about some things, as my father has taken on the role of being the lawyer & business manager for my husband's and his brother's artificial intelligence technology development company, as well as for the other brother who will be shooting & producing a screenplay he wrote.

Anyhow, one of the things this artist requested was to have my father look over some contracts for a handful of Vegas shows he'll be performing, which another lawyer already went over -- and my father recommended a few changes to protect this artist. He originally was just interested in having my father handle some of the legal work for him -- but he also wanted to get his advice on handling other things that his manager used to take care of -- and one of those things was to protect him from hearing or receiving any unsolicited material, as this artist doesn't want to get accused down the road of ripping anything off of anyone else. They discussed how this is becoming a major headache for artists, and the steps that need to be taken to ensure the unsolicited material never reaches him -- and the steps he needs to put in place now to prove that that he is not listening to or receiving any unsolicited material.

So, while I wish you the very best in your endeavor -- please don't be too disheartened if it doesn't pan-out this time for you -- as it is possible the band may have an embargo on receiving any unsolicited material.

As for a tribute song to Mr. Frey -- personally, I would love to see something along the lines of having a video of Mr. Frey singing Part of Me; Part of You -- and have his son on stage singing certain parts of it. I completely understand that there are many on this board who do not like the "new" Eagles -- but as someone who only saw them last year and, admittedly, I only really like a handful of their songs -- the best part of the show for me was Deacon's voice, as it seemed like most of the others on the stage were struggling a bit with their aging voices (and I don't like Vince Gill's twangy tone) -- and I really think Deacon could do a great job on that song.

Thanks Carolyn! Loved your msg! I copyrighted my song already, in my letter I stressed it was a tribute to Glenn Frey, but it was written for The Eagles! They're my songs step-parents! I want them and only them to perform it for its worldwide debut! If as you say they have an unsolicited embargo well, their loss! Guess we'll see 🤔 mind you they're on a worldwide tour so maybe I won't hear a peep til August after they've had a month of R n R, I will go on with my life and let the chips fall where they may! 🤞😎😉
