Default Famous musicians who were fired from their bands

This came across my news feed a little while ago.

And, yes, Felder and Lindsey Buckingham both made the list.

I was trying to decide which ones were the most controversial, but, as many of us have said before, Felder's firing seems like the stuff of elementary school compared to some of these. In fairness though, I'm sure he and the band don't view it that way after many years of adjudication.

The Pearl Jam and Guns'n'Roses drummers are there, but Peter Criss is not.

Richard Wright was a HUGE part of Pink Floyd's sound, but he was probably pretty dysfunctional by the time he was fired. A couple of years ago I discovered that he did actually play an awful lot of keyboards on The Wall, although I don't think the sound world is "classic Wright".

Chaim, I remember reading a quote in Rolling Stone magazine from producer Bob Ezrin who objected to Roger Waters' "Teutonic cruelty" toward Mr. Wright. Sounds like the poor man was bullied.
