    Default Happy Father's Day!

To all of my fellow Borderers who are celebrating ...

    HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I hope all of you have had a wonderful day.

And if you are fortunate enough to still have your dad here, don't forget to let him know how much you appreciate him. For those of us who have lost our fathers, this day is always bittersweet, but I try to focus on remembering all of the wonderful times when my dad was here. So, a beloved Happy Father's Day to my Pop. I love you and miss you every day,

I wrote my dad a special note on an e-card - I like to add a couple paragraphs in addition to the generic greeting - then gave him a call. I told him I would be coming to Houston in a few weeks to visit, and I would be there for his birthday. He said, "You know, I don't have too many more birthdays left." (He'll be 77). I quickly changed the subject because it's upsetting to think about.

You do always need to let them know.

Always in our hearts, Never forgotten
