"Pretty Maids All in a Row" is a beautiful song that really moves me. I'm so not ready for it to go this early. It has really poignant lyrics. Plus, the harmonies are gorgeous.

Now "Try and Love Again" is a great song - as are they all - but I've always felt "Try and Love Again" got terribly repetitive at the end. I mean it's just ridiculous.

SAVE PRETTY MAIDS ALL IN A ROW!

VOTE FOR TRY AND LOVE AGAIN!

I cast my vote for Try and Love Again.

I’m sorry but I cannot stand to see to see try and love again taken out so soon. I like PMAIAR a lot but I love TALA. I vote Pretty maids all in a row

Try and Love Again. Probably Randy's most complete song with the band but that ending...

I would hate for PMAIAR to go so early, easily the most emotional and vulnerable song on the album, written and sung by the man brought in to make them a hard rock act.

Well I will join, Soda. I like PMAIAR better than TALG. So I'm voting for Try and Love Again.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

I love Try and Love Again and, TBH, I don't quite understand the issue with its repetitive ending. There are several great Eagles' songs that have repetitive endings similar to this - most notably the Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise and Take It to the Limit. I think the endings of all these songs are very effective. In the case of Try and Love Again, after all, he does want to give love another try again, and again, and again, and again ... because love is something you should never give up on. If you want an example of a song with a repetitive ending that is totally ineffective and annoying, look no farther than Funky New Year.

Yes I think TALA is quite an underrated song of the Eagles. I suppose they just have so many really good songs that the ones that were'nt nig hits tend to get overlooked.

So this round I'll stick with Pretty Maids all in a row.

Have to say I agree with Dreamer about TALA! I really love that song!

So, as much as I like Pretty Maids All in a Row, it gets my vote this time.

While I see your point, if your illustration is that it's better than Funky New Year - that's a pretty low bar, my friend!
