I like this version of HC. They play it a lot on the Jimmy Buffett channel. Mr. My and myself listen to it in the summer while grilling and having a margarita. I don't really think of it as the same song as the original, though. In honor of summer, and sipping a few...

You know, I almost edited to add something about that, CA! I haven't had one of those since the 70's or early 80's!

Is anything other than a margarita allowed while listening to the Jimmy Buffett channel? LOL

Mr. My has drunk beer listening to it and the world hasn't ended, so I guess it's okay.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Wow - I don't know what to do at this point. The whole game I've been voting for the versions of the songs on this CD, so I guess I'll stick with that formula. I have to protect Take It Easy. This version simply rocks. I love any version of this song, but whenever they do the extended guitar solo at the end, that takes it to a new level for me. So ...

Dreamer. So what happens when it gets down to two songs? I don't remember if it was in the rules. Its going to be very soon.

ETA: I did see about when its down to one song. Are we doing the same thing when it gets down to two?

I agree with the extended guitar solo on Take It Easy. I love it too.
