Heartache Tonight
Heartache Tonight
I vote for Heartache Tonight.
Right or wrong, what’s done is done
It’s only moments that you borrow...
Oh my gosh, this is hard! I love them all!
With reluctance,
I cast my vote for Already Gone.
I can't find much fault with any of those that are left, so I prioritized the others because they're written or co-written by Eagles and "Already Gone" isn't.
OMG - This just keeps getting harder and harder. I absolutely love both of these song, but I love Heartache Tonight a smidgen more. So I've gotta try to save it. Although it is very painful and hurts my fingers to type this ...
I cast my vote for Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise.

In a tied round, the next song to be eliminated in Eagles All-Star Song Survivor is Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise. “Doolin-Dalton/Desperado Reprise”, the stage was set, the sun was sinkin' low down as we came to town to face another showdown. The lawmen cleared the people from the street as we blood-thirsty tribesmen tried to find our seats. The Queen of Diamonds let you down, that's a stone-cold fact. Five songs rode out and only four ride back. It’s hard when your all alone in the center ring, but you have to leave the island immediately.

Damn. It just got real folks. Lol. That said, I'm happy with the 4 left, although I think DD/DR should have went before OOTN! I feel like I should save AG, which I slightly prefer over HT. I would vote for TIE or NKIT to go off next, but I need to vote with as many other people as possible to not waste my vote. I don't foresee anyone voting for those yet so I have to be smart about this, lol. Errrr. Dangit.
Therefore, albeit reluctantly, I vote for:

Well - that last round was quite a nail-biter with Heartache Tonight barely escaping elimination. I think this song deserves to stick around one more round. Of the four remaining songs, Already Gone is my choice to go next. Although I love it too, I agree that it looses a few points since none of the band members wrote it. I would like to urge everyone to save the rockin' grammy-winning Heartache Tonight and vote for Already Gone. I am withholding my vote for now, but will join in a coalition if it is successful.
SAVE HEARTACHE TONIGHT!!!
VOTE FOR ALREADY GONE!!!

No!!! That's not fair that Don's songs are gone.
Anyway. I'm not ready for Already Gone to go yet. I like that song.
So I'm voting for Heartache Tonight again. Bad memories of that song. Lol

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
This has officially become impossible, I love all of the songs that are left! However I cast my vote for Already Gone -they didn't write it and I can't vote off Heartache Tonight yet!
I know they didn't write it, but I still think "Already Gone" is the better song so I will reluctantly vote for HEARTACHE TONIGHT.
