Oh wow, all the rockers are being voted for. Thank god the vote is split so far! lol

While I totally agree with Delilah's assessment as to why OOTN should stick around, I also dearly love Heartache Tonight and I feel it's old rock and roll spirit should be, if anything, a reason to love it not to hate it. I'm not a big EDM/Dance/Pop fan, but OOTN has enough of a Motown RNB and even old rock vibe for me to love it regardless of it's disco/dance appeal. I agree it deserves to hang around at least a couple rounds.

It's a shame that old rock and roll isn't popular today with the youth as it is so much better than modern rock music or modern metal music or modern pop. The rock music of today is missing all of what made classic rock so beloved. I hate modern rock! It has none of the "roll". Greta Van Fleet is about the only one going that sounds like classic rock and is good. I also liked Buckcherry, but they aren't all that new.

So, I've been thinking about this list... a lot. Reviewed all of the choices made by the others. And, this is going to sound crazy coming from me, but the song I feel I need to vote for is: Doolin-Dalton/Desparado Reprise. I feel conflicted, but I know that's what I want to vote for. That's my vote for this first round.

I vote seven bridges road. They didn’t write it and it’s not that important to the ketchup of the band unlike already gone imo

This is going to be a really hard game for me because I love all of these songs so much. As we say all the time, how much each of us likes a song is very subjective. Therefore, I am going to try to the best of my ability to judge the songs on their overall quality with the criteria I normally use – music, lyrics, vocals, harmony, melody, and arrangement. However, even this doesn’t make things a heck of a lot easier for me because these are all extraordinarily high quality songs. I still have no idea what I'm going to vote for yet, but I definitely agree with Austin about Heartache Tonight - not only is it one of my very favorite Eagles songs, but I think it is also one of the best ones - it's a great rock n' roll romp that is so infectious and catchy. It's also one of two Grammy winning songs in the game - the other being New Kid in Town. Oh my my! What to do? What to do?

I'm voting 'Waiting In The weeds' I just don't think it has stood the test of time like the other songs have. It only featured in the LROOE tour but was pulled for the HOTE tour. While its a beautifully crafted song with very powerful lyrics, I don't think it will be remembered as a 'Classic' the way many of the other songs on the list will be remembered

I vote for Seven Bridges Road. As others have said, while it is beautiful, they didn't write it, and I don't like it as much as others on the list. This is going to be a tough game!

Well - I'm sad that 7BR is headed towards elimination, but, TBH, I'd be sad no matter which song went down. I have deliberated a lot and have finally made a decision. I think this is a gorgeous song, but it sounds a bit more soloish instead of Eagleish, so ...

I cast my vote for Waiting in the Weeds.

The first song to be eliminated in Eagles All-Star Song Survivor is Seven Bridges Road. “Seven Bridges Road”, there are stars in the southern sky, but they didn’t line up very well for you. The tribe has spoken and if ever we decide you should go, you must turn southward from here and go down the Seven Bridges Road. Then, follow the moonlight and moss in the trees to find your way off the island.

I’m voting for Heartache Tonight. *runs and hides*

My reason is. Before I liked the Eagles, I was an Osmond fan and they always played this song in concert. I was burnt out.

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
