TV Personality Regis Philbin died yesterday. He was 88.
I grew up watching him as the first US host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. People also remembered him as cohost with Kathie Lee Gilford and later Kelly Ripa.
RIP Regis.

Brothers for life. RIP Glenn
I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley
shun, I am so saddened by this. Regis was such a cool guy. I remember watching Regis and Kathy Lee as a kid when I was home sick from school, and later on with Millionaire, too. He had a great way of relating to the audience and a way of telling stories. Seemed so down to earth and approachable ...so sad. Prayers for family.
I was so sad to hear about the passing of this iconic man. I agree with KW, Regis had such a special gift for entertaining and relating to his audiences. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and fans during this sad time.
Regis joins a fairly long list of legendary entertainers that we have lost in the month of July, 2020.

I was shocked to see this too. I always loved watching Regis - he seemed like such a nice down to earth guy. May he RIP.
He seemed like a nice guy. Had no idea he was 88!
RIP Regis.
