Default Royal Oak MI to Commemorate its Son

Royal Oak - The Detroit suburb where Glenn grew up is to dedicate November 6th (his Birthday) to him. It will be called 'Glenn Freyday'. I only came across a logo for it on FB but I will try and see what is the plan for the day.
I'd love to see it be an annual event, on the Friday nearest his birthday. And to get there too. With travel restrictions here it won't be possible for me this year.

That is awesome! So that will be yet another place that is going on my "Eagles road trip" list, alongside The Troubadour and of course Winslow, Arizona.

Me three ! I am so glad the Detroit continues to remember/honor Glenn. That would be great if they did it every year. They just had another birthday special honoring Tom Petty. Glenn deserves that too. It would be so cool if they did it every year on his birthday.
