    Default RIP Hal Holbrook

Legendary actor Hal Holbrook has died. He was married to Dixie Carter for 26 years before she died in 2010. A great actor. I mostly remembered seeing him on Designing Women and horror movie Creepshow.

He was in a lot of popular movies. The Firm, All The President's Men, Magnum Force and many other movies.

Hal Holbrook, Emmy- and Tony-winning actor known for playing Mark Twain, dies at 95 (msn.com)

    Brothers for life. RIP Glenn

I'm not sure I believe in fate, but I know that crossing paths with Glenn Lewis Frey in 1970 changed my life forever, and it eventually had an impact on the lives of millions of other people all over the planet. It will be very strange going forward in a world without him in it. But, I will be grateful, every day, that he was in my life. Rest in peace, my brother. You did what you set out to do, and then some." -Don Henley

Hal Holbrook was such a talented actor. My favorite role of his was in Our Town. I had forgotten that he was married to Dixie Carter until her death.

    R.I.P. Mr. Holbrook
